Following their marriage, Charles Lewis and Cora (Hagadorn) Treat moved to the farm previously owned by James D. Rowe on the south side of Lone Tree Road, directly south of Stone Rowe.  Known as "Maplehurst," the farm had a large barn, but the house was quite small.  This photo, taken circa 1910, shows the original home looking west, with Lone Tree Road visible through the trees at right.   Also pictured are the Treats' two children: (i) Florence Marie Treat, born December 9, 1897, who married Ralph Kinney; and (ii) Merrill Treat, born circa 1908, who married Pauline Ike.
