About The Highland Township Historical Society
Founded in 1991, the Highland Township Historical Society is a non-profit organization devoted to fostering a deeper understanding of and appreciation for the people, places and events which make up "Our Highland Heritage." To promote these goals, the Society encourages members and nonmembers alike to collect, preserve and share with others video and audio recordings, photographs, genealogical materials, maps, deeds and other artificats and records of historical interest or significance to Highland and surrounding communities.
Membership is open to any person sharing the Society's goals, whether or not a resident of Highland. Yearly membership dues are currently $12.00. Life Memberships may also be purchased for a one-time contribution of $100.00. Benefits include a subscription to Signpost; the Society's monthly publication, as well as participation in monthly meetings and special events.
