After the Domestic Pickle Works closed in 1962, Charles E. and Aroline (Lockwod) Needham continued to live at their home on East Livingston Road until Charles' death on December 31, 1979. Aroline thereafter lived with her son, Charles, Jr. at "Ridgemere Farm" on the north side of Clyde Road, until her death on July 17, 1985. This historic farm was previously the home of Aroline's grandfather, Charles Lockwood.
