Emma D. Hagadorn, the second daughter of Joseph V. and Sarah (Reed) Hagadorn, married Issac Roy Waterbury in 1892. He was born at Highland Township on October 2, 1869, the son of Richard H. and Loxey L. (Sutton) Waterbury. Better known as I. Roy Waterbury, he owned a farm on the east side of Milford Road, both north and south of Wardlow Road, where he devoted time to the breeding of registered Oxford sheep. Soon after reaching his majority he became active in politics and served as clerk, treasurer and finally supervisor of Highland Township.
