Produce grown on the Ruggles' farm was taken to Detroit's Eastern Market, where the family had the same morning stall for 40 years. The photograph below, taken circa 1940, shows Harry O. Ruggles standing beside his produce truck.
married Mary Edith Hagadorn, born August 18, 1873, the daughter of Joseph V. Hagadorn by his third wife, Sarah H. Reed (See the Hagadorn family album). The photo below shows Harry standing in front of a steam tractor being used to thresh grain.
